4. Training Courses & Certification

  • All training courses and assessments are subject to availability and may be modified or cancelled at our discretion.
  • Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the relevant programme and assessment criteria as determined by the WDA.
  • The WDA reserves the right to revoke or suspend any certification if a member is found to have breached these terms, professional conduct standards, or safety guidelines.
  • Certifications are non-transferable and remain the intellectual property of the WDA.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • All fees for courses, assessments, and services are payable in advance at the time of booking.
  • Due to the limited availability of places and the cost of resources involved, we do not offer refunds on any courses or assessments. Please ensure you are able to attend before booking.
  • The WDA reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.

6. Code of Conduct

All members and course participants are expected to:

  • Act professionally and respectfully towards all individuals, animals, and property.
  • Prioritise the safety and welfare of all canines involved in training and assessment activities.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by WDA trainers and assessors.
  • Not engage in any behaviour that could bring the WDA or the decoy profession into disrepute.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and software, is the property of the World Decoy Association and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Decoy work involves inherent risks. The WDA provides training and certification to promote safety and professionalism, but cannot guarantee the elimination of all risks. By participating in any WDA course, assessment, or activity, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the WDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
